Corn season is finally here! Honestly, we look forward to this all year long. Our tip this month will help you make delicious grilled corn without all the mess. The first step is cleaning the corn. Keep the husks intact, removing only the dead or scraggly portions. Once they are clean, soak the corn in water for approximately five minutes. Drain the water and place on the grill for 15-20 minutes, turning every five minutes. Remove from the grill and let them cool for 3-5 minutes. Next, cut the bottom of the cob and husk off. Taking care not to burn yourself, grip the top of the cob to shake off all the husk. If you get this right, your corn should come out nearly silk free! Any remaining stray silks can be removed with a clean dry toothbrush.
