29Tip of the Month
We suggest you breakdown your Thanksgiving prep list the several days before the big event. Did you know that many of the dishes served traditionally on Thanksgiving can be made several days ahead of time? Keep your kitchen clean and your head clear as you take Thanksgiving Day by storm this year! Items like mashed potatoes can be made ahead of time and kept warm in a crockpot until service. The tip is to butter the dish before putting the potatoes in to keep them from sticking. Remember to set your table the night before. This will allow you to take your time and enjoy the décor process instead of trying to cram everything in before serving your hungry guests.
